The EU Institute Library is located at Tsuda College. It contains books, magazines and other EU-related material.

Who may use the EUIJ Library?
Students who are enrolled in a EU course, faculty members and researchers
Graduate students and undergraduate students affiliated with EU courses are eligible to use the Consortium Libraries and Library materials. (Students will be required to present an ID card.) Also faculty members and researchers can use the Consorium Libraries.
Faculty members and researchers can obtain a delivery service (but have to bear the costs). Please download the application form here.
We are pleased to announce that the Delegation of the European Commission in Japan donnated us the following EU official publications which are currently kept (and can be used) at the EUIJ Library at Tsuda College and the EUIJ Office respectively:
European Documentation Centres (EDCs) are established in universities, national libraries and academic institutions all over the world based on the regulations by the head of European Commission.
Hitotsubashi University European Info was established in 1991, and holds essential periodicals such as the Official Journal, newsletters and various materials chiefly in the fields of law, economics, labor, society, environment, and external affairs published since 1991. Main publications by the EU are published in all the official languages, however, Hitotsubashi University accepts English version principally. Several materials in French and other languages are also available.
Materials are shelved in order of the date of acquisition, not classified by subjects, however, you can search by title words, name of authors, and subject headings, using online catalog (HERMES) or NACSIS Webcat.
Who may use the Hitotsubashi EDC?
All resources of the Hitotsubashi EDC are available for everyone. (Visitors shall fill in a form at the main counter on the first floor of the main Building at the University Library).
